Privacy policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Your birth date is yours. Ageglass calculates ages on your device, without asking you to create an account or send your birth date to us. Here is what happens when you use the site.

Age calculations and cards

Dates you enter into the calculator, including your date of birth and target date, are processed in your browser. Your device’s time zone is detected locally to show the correct age. We do not submit those dates to our servers or save them to an account. Shareable card images are drawn and downloaded on your device. If you choose to share a card or summary, the app hands it to your device’s sharing options or the service you select; what you share is then subject to that service’s privacy practices.

What your browser remembers

We store your advertising choice (accepted or rejected) in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to choose again on every visit. We also store your chosen age-card color theme and font there. These settings remain on your device until you change them or clear your browser’s site data. Local storage is not an advertising cookie.

Advertising and cookies

Ad spaces are labeled. Until you accept ads, they are placeholders and the Google AdSense advertising script is not loaded. If you select Accept ads, and the site has active AdSense slots, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including personalized ads. Google may receive information about your browser, device, and visit. Google’s handling of that information is governed by Google’s advertising privacy information. Currently, ad slots may still appear as placeholders until real ads are configured.

If you select Reject, Ageglass does not load the AdSense script and its ad spaces stay as placeholders. This choice does not prevent ordinary browser requests needed to display the site.

Change your choice

You can reopen the consent banner at any time using the button below or “Privacy & ad choices” in the footer. Your current choice is not set. Rejecting after previously accepting prevents Ageglass from showing new ad slots, but it does not automatically erase cookies already set by Google or unload a script already running on the page. Reload the page and clear this site’s cookies in your browser if you want to remove existing cookies. Clearing site data also resets your saved consent and card preferences.

Privacy questions

If you use the Privacy Q&A, your question and the conversation so far are sent to our AI service to generate a reply. The conversation is held in the page while it is open and is not saved as an Ageglass chat history. Please do not enter personal or sensitive information. Like other online services, the AI provider and site host may process technical request data to deliver and secure the service; we cannot promise that no service logs exist. AI replies are informational, not legal advice.

Other services and links

Some famous-person photos are requested from Wikimedia Commons, and the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers may receive routine technical request information, such as your IP address, when your browser requests their files. Links to Wikipedia, social sharing sites, and Google take you to services with their own privacy policies. Our site host may also process standard technical information needed to serve and protect the website; this policy does not claim that web-server logs are never created.

Updates

We may update this page if our practices change. The date above shows when this policy was last revised. For a quick explanation of a specific choice, visit the Privacy Q&A.
